Finding a field, creating a career, and weaving into the workforce is about to become much easier thanks to the Career Fair. This two-day event, presented by the Career Center, will host employers like Frontier Airlines, W.OL.F. Sanctuary., and many, many more.
The first day of the event is focused on Agriculture Science, Technical Computing, Biotech, and Life Science industries. The second day is geared towards Communications, Business, Social Services, Liberal Arts, Hospitality/Tourism, Health/Wellness industries. However, students should focus on the field they want to go into, not necessarily what their major is.
To be prepared to meet with employers, it is strongly recommended that you download the Fairs App. The application houses all of the information on attending employers, what days they will be attending, and details of the business they represent!
Even if you aren’t looking for a job right now, getting practice talking to employers is a way to build your networking skill set and plan for possible opportunities in the future.
The Career Fair will be held on Feb. 14 and 15 from 10:30-3:30 am in the Grand Ballroom.
