For C.A.N.S Around the Oval 2019, SLiCE’s Service Liaison Team aimed to enhance the creativity, accessibility, and education within the month-long fund/food drive program and longtime CSU tradition. Beyond donating, SLiCE encouraged folks to volunteer, educate themselves and others, and be innovative with their “mini” food/fund drives. New and traditional ways to participate were suggested to enhance the quality and quantity of CANtributions and better meet today’s community needs, as well as SLiCE’s and the Food Bank for Larimer County’s goals. Great strides were made possible by the many levels of engagement CANtributed from thousands of participants and supporters.
A GIANT thank you to individual donors, volunteers, promoters, departments, students, community organizations, and K-12 school!
