This exhibition title is derived from the famously referred to Salon des Refusés of 1863, which featured works submitted to the official Paris Salon then rejected by the jury. This Salon des Refusés is a display of selected works which were not accepted into this past year’s Student Art Exhibition held in the Curfman Gallery in the Lory Student Center. Only a certain amount of pieces were able to be selected into the annual exhibition featuring work by CSU graduate and undergraduate students due to limited space. However, there were many pieces that shined despite not being chosen. This show features some of those pieces by CSU’s talented young artists.
