RamEvents is excited to continue serving the CSU community, providing diverse and affordable events that both entertain and enrich the CSU experience. Below you will find a list of our events with details and links.  Check back often as we will add to the list throughout the semester.

Event Description:  TEDxCSU is an independently organized TED event at Colorado State University that aims to share ‘ideas worth spreading’ with the Colorado State University community and the greater Northern Colorado area. During TEDxCSU six speakers are given a platform and up to 18 minutes to provide a TED Talk to an audience of 400+ participants. This year, TEDxCSU will be taking place on Saturday, March 25, 2022 from 9a.m.-2p.m. in the Lory Student Center. Please note, this event has historically sold out, purchase your ticket today! 9.8.22 Battle of the Bands

Event Description: In collaboration, KCSU and RamEvents will be hosting Battle of the Bands! Four CSU student bands will perform and compete to win a cash prize and a spot to perform during FoCoMX.  The winning band will be selected by event participants through an electronic voting system.

9.15.22 Latinx/e Heritage Month Kickoff ft. DJ Von Kiss

Event Description: El Centro and RamEvents will be kicking off Latinx/e Heritage Month by bringing in DJ Von Kiss. She is a phenomenal DJ/Producer based out of Southern California. Growing up in San Francisco with a music/dance loving Mom, she was exposed to various musical genres such as Freestyle, Booty Bass, House, Hip Hop, Funk, Oldies, Banda, Cumbias… to name a few. Event Description: In collaboration with El Centro and WGAC, this year our LHM Keynote speaker is Julissa Arce: writer, activist and social changemaker. Author of You Sound Like a White Girl: The Case for Rejecting Assimilation, her newest book.

9.25.22 Rice Bowl

Event Description: In collaboration with the Asian Pacific American Cultural Center, RamEvents

will be hosting an evening of food, fun, and bowling at Chipper’s Lanes on Horsetooth.

Food and drinks are provided, as well as, 2 hours of unlimited bowling. CSU students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to attend. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. 10.5.22 Borderlands ft. Sonia Guiñansaca

Event Description: The Lantinx/e Borderlands Speaker is an intentional

collaboration between the Pride Resource Center, El Centro and Ram Events to honor the overlap of Latinx Heritage Month and LGBTQIA+ History Month. The Borderlands Speaker seeks to honor the intersectional experiences, stories and contributions of the Queer Laxinx community. Guiñansaca’s activism and the importance of prioritizing joy in the lives of

Queer Trans People of Color across the country.

10.10.22 Indigenous Peoples Day Keynote ft. Beth Wright

Event Description: The Indigenous People’s Day Keynote will highlight the importance of the Indian Child Welfare Act and it’s relation to tribal sovereignty. Beth Wright will share her personal experience and road to practicing tribal federal law.

Event Description: In an effort to increase awareness of Native cultures at CSU, the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, the Native American Cultural Center, the Associated Students of CSU and RamEvents will sponsor the CSU Powwow. Community members and students are welcome to attend this free event.

11.8.22 Rams Against Hunger Concert

Event Description: In collaboration, Rams Against Hunger and RamEvents will be hosting a concert with two Colorado based bands, 2MX2 and Sunrise Daydream. There will be free tote bags in information about the different resources related to food security at CSU, come join us!

Event Description: We are excited to host D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai from FX’s Reservation Dogs for a fireside chat and screening. Please join us on November 10th for this exciting event! No reservations or tickets are required ahead of time. Seating will be limited.
