Carrigan Grow is a painter from North Carolina and Emma Daye is a sculptor from Colorado. In a shared season of displacement from a space and time they were familiar with, the two met in their first class of undergraduate art school. Their relationship was created in a physically and spiritually shared home. Through this connection their works come to life. Their pieces narrate the experience of individuals in spaces they inhabit and the reciprocity between place and persons. These conversations are manifested through narrative painting and process based printmaking practices.
